Before you fill anything in, three things worth knowing.
The quote depends on the drop, not the room. A 2.4 metre floor to ceiling window costs more to dress than a 1.2 metre window in the same bedroom, because fabric is priced by the drop and the fullness across the track. If you want a useful ballpark before we visit, count your windows and note roughly how tall they are. The 2026 pricing guide sets out the bands per window so you can do the arithmetic yourself.
New build? Book the measure before handover if you can. New homes across Cardinia Lakes, Arena, Heritage Springs, Lakeside and Riverbank hand over with bare windows, and made-to-measure curtains take 3 to 5 weeks. Measuring a fortnight before you move means the bedrooms are covered on the first night rather than in September.
Tell us about the mornings. If your bedroom faces east and you are already awake at 5.30am in December, or if you work nights and need to sleep through the middle of the day, say so on the form. That pushes us toward a true blockout with a full return and a pelmet, rather than a lined curtain that looks the part but leaks light down the sides. Same if a room is freezing in July, which usually points to thermal linings and sealing the top of the window properly.
